We're sorry, but this activity is over. The last meeting was Friday, May 28, 2021.
This online Arts and Crafts program is a great way to introduce our youth of the Eastern Coachella Valley to Arts and Crafts. This program will give the participants a place to let their creative minds explore Art during this time. Youth will have the opportunity to have fun, get creative and learn how to paint, draw, etc. without having any artistic abilities. Each class will be led by an instructor and they will receive step by step instructions to create their own masterpiece. This program is made possible through the Anderson Children's Foundation.
Best area for practice: Clear open area on either a table or desk
What to bring: All art supplies will be provided in Arts and Craft Kits.(Kits are limited) If you are unable to pick up a kit you can use your own supplies.
The class will take place on Zoom!
As a reminder to participants, parents & guardians; participants will be on a live video conference that will be recorded. Please read through the following guidelines to assist in maintaining a safe experience for everyone. The classes will be live and not interactive. Please make sure the participant is in a quiet place where a parent/guardian can monitor the session and assist, if needed. Also, please be aware there may be online media that contain references, ads or links to materials from third parties. DRD is not associated with those third parties. These sessions will be recorded for viewing by students who were unable to attend the session or for the attending students to take the class again on another day of the week. During the online class, all of the same rules apply as with in-person classes, i.e. listen to and follow directions from the instructor, be nice to one another, raise our hand if there is a question, take turns, and HAVE FUN, to name a few! If there are questions regarding the class and or the use of Zoom please contact Mercedes before the start of the class.
