Discover the foundational practices and processes of fusing glass. You'll learn to cut and assemble glass plate, frit, noodles, and stringers to make a variety of plate and jewelry projects. We'll go over what different temperatures do to glass in a kiln, and how to prepare molds for slumping.

- Please keep in mind this studio has high heat temperatures.
- Bring water to drink and sunglasses. Wear a cotton shirt, pants and closed toe shoes. No sandals, shorts or synthetics.
- Students must have a minimum height of 56 inches to be able to look into the furnace, full vision capabilities, gripping strength with both hands and adequate hand-eye coordination.
