This is a Home Run Derby competition with two rounds with men and women divisions. First round each batter gets four minutes at the plate. Those who advance to the second round will have three minutes. Home runs are not the only way to score points. Winners receive trophies. Minimum 5 participants.
· Parks and Rec Provides Bats and Balls
· Participants must use bat provided by Parks and Rec
· Each Batter will have 4 minutes at the plate to hit. Top 4 players will advance to second round. In the second round each batter will have 3 minutes at the plate to hit. Batter with the most points in the second round wins the derby. Prizes and Trophies to be given out.
All points must be in fair territory
1 Point-Ball that hits the fence or warning tracks (in air or rolls)
3 Point-Ball Clears the fence
1 Point-Ball that lands in the 200-foot area (in air or rolls)
3 Point-Ball that hits the fence or warning tracks or clears the fence
