The time has come to run your favorite marathon. Registration for the 36th MCM opens on February 23, the anniversary of the 1945 flag raising atop Mount Suribachi during the Battle of Iwo Jima in World War II. Active Duty discounted registration begins on January 19, the same day MCM Runners Club and 2010 deferred runners may also begin registering. |

| 2010 Marine Corps Marathon official finisher certificates are now available to be downloaded for printing from the Finisher Webpages. Certificates include individual runner's time, overall place and overall gender place. An appreciation certificate for MCM Volunteers is also available for printing. |

| Be there when the town crier calls for the starting musket to fire and run the streets where the nation's first president lived as a boy and the North and South came face to face in battle. On May 15, 2011, run or relay 13.1 in timeless Fredericksburg, perfectly situated between the nation's capital and the capital of the Commonwealth of Virginia. Online registration opens on the MCM website beginning December 15. New in 2011—300 pairs of runners may register as a relay team to run a quarter marathon. Individual runners save $10 on registration for the Marine Corps Historic Half marathon by signing up before March 25 when the fee increases to $75. |

| The 2011 MCM Event Series held aboard Marine Corps Base Quantico will include challenging courses, wild themes and exciting running experiences. Registration for all MCM Event Series races opens on December 15. The event calendar includes the return of the beloved late summer music extravaganza known as RunStock on August 20. Featuring just over three miles of peace and music, RunStock hosts multiple on course bands and a headline concert with picnic area at the finish.
