Drawing is a way to see, to look closely, to slow down, and to express your inner world. In this class we will do some drawing exercises to help you observe, relax, and contemplate. Many of the exercises will shift us from the left, logical side of the brain to the creative, right side of the brain. Upside-down drawings, negative space drawings, and blind contour drawings are a few of the methods we will use to unlock your intuitive, expressive, and imaginative powers. Together we will experiment and explore the artist within each of us.
