We're back for Project ECHO's 10th annual Turkey Trot!
For year 10, we're taking you to the "cross-country course" of The Calverton School in Huntingtown, MD. The fields and wooded trails here are beautiful as well as fun and challenging. For your friends and relatives who say they can't do a 5K, tell them no worries! We have a 1K that will have all of you feeling like an athlete, or at the very least, feeling less like a stuffed turkey at the end of the day.

This event will take place at The Calverton School: 300 Calverton School Rd. Huntingtown MD 20639.
Packet pick-ups will take place at Project ECHO Thrift & Gift Shop: 885 Main St. Prince Frederick, MD 20678 (only half of a mile south of the shelter).
Pre-Registration Dates & Details:
Nov. 19: Early Bird discount ends at 11:59 pm.
Nov. 21: "Timed Participant" online registration closes at 11:59 pm.
Nov. 23 "Untimed Participant" online registration closes at 11:59 pm.

If you pre-register and/or reserve a t-shirt during registration, you may pick up your race bib early and avoid the race-day 6:00am check-in line. T-shirts are limited this year in both quantity and sizes. It is strongly suggested that you reserve a t-shirt during online registration.

Race Day Schedule:
6:00 am - 6:50 am: Arrive, park (please car-pool if applicable), register or check-in (if applicable) warm-up, line up.
6:00 am: On-site r egistration and pre-registration check-in and packet pick-up.
7:00 am: Start Time.
8:00 am: (Approximate) Awards Ceremony.
5K: This course runs through fields and wooded trails and will present a fun new challenge for Turkey Trotters. This is suitable for adults and children, running and walking, timed and untimed participants but please be advised this is a "cross-country course" with areas of uneven terrain. The exact course map will be available before the race.
1K: This course is for those who prefer more consistent terrain and a shorter distance. This is suitable for adults and children of all abilities. This 1K is untimed. The exact course map will be available before the race.
Virtual: This option is for those who aren’t able to join us on Thanksgiving morning but still want to support Project ECHO. Run or walk whenever and wherever you choose between now and the end of November. Share your personal Turkey Trot by sending us pictures and/or tagging us on social media.
Parking is limited. Carpool with your friends, family, and/or teammates, if possible. Plan to arrive early.
Complimentary light refreshments will be available before and after the race.
Port-o-potties and First Aid will be available near the start/finish line.
10th annual t-shirts are limited, but 2019 and other prior year Turkey Trot shirts will be available for sale and/or donations.
Complete race results will be posted online at www.projectECHO.net as soon as they are available.
Participants who place 1st, 2nd, or 3rd in their age group will receive a medal after the race. The first female and male across the finish line will be the Turkey Trot Overall Winners and they will receive awards as well as a lifetime of bragging rights.
