The Hull Triathlon 2015 is a unique race set in the city centre and Marina area of the city. The race starts in the iconic Princes Dock which is surrounded on all side by cafes and viewing areas making it a perfect area for spectators. The flat, technical bike route takes athletes through closed city streets on a multi-lap tour of the city. The run then takes athletes on a 5km route which takes some of the city's iconic scenery including the Trinity Church, Old Town, Marina and The Deep.
Event details and schedule
The event registration will be held at Princes Quay on the morning of the race. Details will be sent out via email the week before the event.
Parking will be available at the shopping centre on the day, for a small cost. Access to transition will not be possible through the shopping centre with your bike. You must follow marshals instructions which will take you from the carpark, directly to transition and registration.
The race will start in waves from 9am. Some roads will be closed around the city centre so please allow plenty of time for arrival. Arrival via the A63, Hedon Rd and Ferensway will not be affected by road closures.
Check your race equipment before setting off. An extensive list of items can be found on the race website but you will need a wetsuit, bike, helmet and trainers.
