What's Included

This one-week course is an optional follow-up to the College Application Essay: Session 1, Drafting or for students who have working drafts of their essay. In this course, students will refine their initial drafts through peer workshops, individual revisions and teacher feedback. Through readings and guided critiques of sample essays, the course will examine and employ a variety of methods of revision that students will then use in their own work. College Application Essay is taught by Academic Coach/Tutor and former Blake English Teacher Bryn Hennessy. Blake students may take this course or Ms. Barrows’ course offered through Blake’s College Counseling office. The class does not meet on Wednesday, July 29th.
