Description
Put on your fancy Hat & get ready to learn what makes the 1st Saturday in May so special. The Kentucky Derby is the oldest continuously running sports event in the nation. In this lively illustrated. lecture, historian Leslie Goddard traces the history of the Kentucky Derby, looking especially at the traditions that make it so beloved. Lunch will be served before the presentation. Please note any dietary restrictions you may have when registering. Must register 2 weeks in advance to attend!FEE INCLUDES: Entry to presentation by Leslie Goddard & buffet Lunch.
