INSTRUCTOR: Eloise Heinrich Whether you are a beginner or experienced with using clay, this class gives you the freedom to create custom functional and sculptural pieces. Individual instruction allows students to learn the basics of ceramics, as well as refine current skills. Wheel throwing, hand-building, and surface treatment will be covered. Class fee includes one bag of stoneware, glazes and firings. All levels welcome. Students will need to provide their own tools, a 1-gallon bucket, large heavy duty sponge, an apron and a small container for water. You can purchase a tool/supply kit that includes a toolkit, 1-gallon bucket and a heavy duty sponge for $20. If you purchase the kit you will still need to supply your own apron and small container for water. Review the supply list posted on our website:Supply List. Unless otherwise noted students are responsible for purchasing all necessary supplies. Classes that do not meet enrollment minimums will be canceled two days prior to the start of the class.
