An in-depth experiential training focused on powerful nature mentoring, wilderness living skills, and creating deeply connective experiences in nature. Essential Wilderness Toolkit for Deep Nature Connection: Deepen your nature connection through hands-on experiences. Key areas of learning include nature awareness & naturalist training as well as wilderness living skills & handcrafts. 2. Instructor Training & Practical Facilitation Skills: Learn the core principles that inform Wild Earth’s pedagogy of ‘invisible teaching’ and gain capacity in the practical “how to”s of wilderness program instruction. 3. Experience In The Field (optional): Join us out in the field at one or more of our youth programs. Apply what you’re learning first-hand and support youth in transformative experiences in nature. Located along the Shawangunk Ridge in New York’s Hudson Valley, Wild Earth is a not-for-profit that runs nature-based programs for children, teens, families and adults.

 

Wild Earth leads transformative nature immersion experiences that cultivate character, confidence, passion and perseverance in New York’s youth.

 

At Wild Earth, children & adults head into the woods and off the trails where they’re meeting plants and animals, learning wilderness skills, creating natural crafts, and building deep connections with friends and inspiring mentors.
