The 13th Anniversary of Pedaling the Prairie Bike ride takes place on Saturday, February 2 2019. The ride begins at the Waller County Fairgrounds (22000 Fairground Road in Hempstead). This non-competitive race cruises past the rice fields and prairie between Bellville and Katy, Texas. Enjoy the scenic prairie, rolling meadows, rural flatlands and hills close to Bellville, Monaville, and Pattison. There are several well-planned routes, from a 26-mile beginner course to a 71-mile endurance ride.
Breakpoints with refreshments, as well as mechanical and medical support, located every 10-15 miles.
Police escorts at major intersections. SAG vehicles and Ride Marshall support.
Please carpool as parking gets very congested at the fairgrounds.
