About This Activity

The 44th Bermuda Marathon Weekend is a ‘running festival’ held each year over the American Martin Luther King Jr. holiday weekend in January.

Including:

  • a series of Mile races
  • a 10K
  • a Half Marathon
  • a Marathon
  • the Bermuda Triangle Challenge ‘3 races in 3 days’ series

A short flight of 2-hours or less from most US east coast cities and Toronto, Bermuda only feels like it’s a million miles away.

Surrounded by crystal clear water warmed by the gulf stream, Bermuda is the ideal winter time destination for the active minded traveler.

The Bermuda Marathon Weekend features scenic race courses run past lush foliage and pastel coloured buildings, on-course entertainment and a finish festival.  Also, look out for appearances by Elite and Celebrity/VIP runners.

Participants will have the opportunity to earn up to 4 of 6 impressive t-shirts and finishers medallions, overall and age group awards.  Awards will be presented for the 10K (Saturday), Half Marathon & Marathon (Sunday) at awards presentations at each race.  The male and female with the lowest accumulated time in both the Bermuda Triangle Challenge (mile|10K|marathon) and Bermuda Triangle Half Challenge (mile|10K|half marathon) will also be presented with an award (Sunday).

The Bermuda Marathon is a Boston Qualifier and all events are sanctioned & certified by the Bermuda National Athletics Association (BNAA), the National Governing Body for Track & Field, Road Racing, Cross Country and Race Walking in Bermuda.

Don’t forget, you are invited to join us at the ‘Victory Celebration’ on Sunday evening where you can celebrate your weekends accomplishments.
