This class, an alternative to "vinyassa flow" style of yoga, is geared for those in their 50s and 60s who are looking for a smaller class with personalized instruction and a lot of tips on how to practice safely.The older student is more able to appreciate the nuances of a mindful approach to yoga, even as they may face more limitations due to arthritis, osteoporosis, or past surgeries. It is not necessary to have any previous experience nor to be already flexible. Each class ends with a long relaxation. All students should be able to get down and up from the floor. Younger and older students are welcome. Led by Diana Woodall. Series only, no drop-ins.
