What's Included

RMHS Fall Skills Clinic -RMHS is coming to Gunnison for a Stickhandling & Shooting clinic for the U19, U16, & U14 Girls. (this will be optional for peewee age boys only if they do not want to participate in the body contact clinic) The players will be separated into groups by age and skill level. This will ensure the players will be training against players of their skill level for the best possible training environment. During this clinic we will focus on proper shooting technique while stationary and on the move. The coaching staff will break down the wrist, snap, backhand, and slap shot with the most innovative techniques taught at all levels. The RMHS staff will also cover better puck handling skills both in the open ice and in tight areas. This clinic will give our students all the necessary tools to become a more effective player. ***All of these players will share the ice but will be separated by clinic theme on the ice Saturday 10.22 On-Ice - 9:30-10:45am Off-ice with Coach Sady - 11:00am-12:00pm On-Ice - 12:30-1:45pm On-Ice - 3:15-4:15pm Sunday 10.23 On-Ice - 9:15 - 10:15am Off-ice with Coach Sady - 10:30-11:30am

About This Organizer

Rocky Mountain Hockey Schools provides the finest player development, training and exposure opportunities for students of all ages and skill levels.
We provide the finest hockey instruction available in an exciting positive learning environment for players of all ages. We believe that a players development is determined by his/her own dedication and effort in conjunction with the teaching of a highly trained and motivated staff. All activities and drills are designed to break down and develop each player's critical skills through intensive technique training.
Side by side with this intensive training & development atmosphere, RMHS strives to create a positive, 'no-fear' environment at each camp, where it is OK to fall down, it is OK to fail, and it is OK to struggle with an activity. If the athletes feel safe and secure in their environs, they will feel comfortable pushing the envelope. We make everything fun, and everything safe, where children push themselves and aren't afraid to fail. As we like to say at RMHS, "If you don't fall, you ain't trying!".
We truly believe this is one of the strongest attributes of any RMHS camp. Due to the tireless efforts made by our staff, each player is comfortable with what they are doing, learning what is being taught, and most importantly, improving. RMHS prides itself on its teaching skills, its ability to develop athletes, and most importantly, our instructors. Our instructors are teachers and educators first, passionate hockey players second.
