The Bearcat Warrior Running Camp provides runners the opportunity to have fun while learning the employed strategies, body mechanics, and exercise physiology of great runners and athletes in order to improve their own athletic performance. In addition to daily runs and fun workout activities, runners will learn from guest speakers about the fundamentals of running, nutrition, sport physiology, and injury prevention. Special workout and camp activities may include cross fit, trail runs, beach runs, team building activities, human foosball, horseshoes, nitroball, volleyball, Gaga ball, swimming, and other typical camping activities.
Special note that campers will attend church on Sundays as well.
Event details and schedule
Camp check in is Friday July 12, 2019 at 10 to 11 am. Camp check out is Monday July 15, 2019 2 to 5 p.m. Overnight campers should bring bedding (sleeping bag or sheets), and toiletries. All campers should bring money for snacks not associated with meals (lunch is provided for everyone, breakfast and dinner is also provided for overnight campers), running shoes/clothes for 4 days, swim wear, spare outfits (to change out of dirty/wet clothing), bug sprey, sun screen, and any other items of comfort.
