“Galoshes”: What Is It? As the fall winds down and winter approaches, “Galoshes” is a get-away for senior high youth groups that aims to equip teens for the new season they are entering in life! Whether it be their new year at school, their new year at youth group, or just changes within their families or within themselves, Galoshes provides the fresh teaching and supportive community to better equip them to weather life’s changes. Galoshes runs alongside IAWAH’s Youth Development Leadership Program Fall reunion. We are excited to merge the two events, doubling the experience. Event Features: IAWAH hopes to create a fun, energizing and supportive environment for your youth group Through the following aspects of “Galoshes”: o Four teaching sessions with our speaker o Worship through music during our teaching sessions o Small group time and break out areas for reflection with your youth group o Great wide games to play with other youth groups o Structured free-time with IAWAH-led activities (such as rock climbing and mountain biking) o Home-cooked meals and private lodging.
