Description
THE BASICS BALLROOM PROGRAMTeaching new to/beginner Ballroom Partner Dancing, we focus on accomplishing an understanding of basics Ballroom dance technique; including: Partnering (Lead vs Follow), Foot use, Rhythm, Posture, Sequencing and Character.
Each week builds on the previous week's lesson, so students are seeing constant progression.
Learning to dance can be a humbling experience but as professional ballroom instructors we strive to make learning as simple and fun as possible, using elementary teaching techniques, we capture knowledge with repetition, games and practical take home exercises.
- Foxtrot- a Jazzy ballroom dance that travels and navigates
- East Coast Swing- A rotational, high energy ballroom dance used for social dancing
Expect to rotate partners, practice your knowledge to common songs and be provided with thorough instruction from 2 experienced teachers, Madalin Wilkie and Grant Swalwell
