Improvisation, partner interaction and dancing to the songs you hear on the radio all combine to make West Coast Swing (WCS) a FUN dance experience. This in person class is very basic, designed for those with little or no dance experience, but all are welcome. WCS is a popular lead-follow partner swing dance that can be danced to pop, R&B, blues - a variety of musical genres! It emphasizes non-verbal conversation, with partners encouraged to play, improvise and interpret within WCS's overall structure. Partners are required for the class. A couple should register as individuals.
A face mask is required indoors for all individuals over the age of 2. A minimum of 6 feet of space should be maintained indoors for those visiting our facilities.Masks are strongly encouraged outdoors for all people when a minimum of 6 feet of distance from others cannot be maintained.
