In this class we will explore poses that build toward inversions. Inversions are a beneficial practice for the heart and the brain. With the help of gravity, oxygenated blood is more easily carried to the brain in an inverted position. Circulation to the torso, head, neck, and brain is improved. Inversions also increase immunity. Lymph moves throughout the body via muscular contraction and gravity. When the body is upside down, it is much easier for lymph to travel and do it's job- get rid of toxins. Throughout this session we will play and prepare the body to access to these positions safely and effectively. All levels welcome!
