Description
Safe @ Home by Safe Sitter is a program designed to prepare students in grades 4-6 to be safe when they are home alone and need to care for themselves when parents are away for short periods of time.You will learn how to practice safe habits, how to prevent unsafe situations, and what to do when faced with dangers such as power failures or weather emergencies, assessing and responding to injuries and illnesses. Course includes snack and all materials.
This is an outdoor only program. All CDC, State of Maryland, and Frederick County guidelines will be followed along with proper physical distancing. Please come prepared with weather appropriate attire and a water bottle. A welcome email with full details will be sent out prior to the start of the program.
