Join staff as we hike a section of the Appalachian Trail that leads to Annapolis Rock and Black Rock. This is a 5.1 mile out and back hike, with 810 ft elevation gain which offers a scenic view of the Great Appalachian Valley. Meet at the AT trail head Parking lot. The parking is located off of Baltimore National Pike (Route 40) after Canada Hill Road if heading west. If using Google Maps or IPhone simply type in AT trail head and parking I-70, MD. The trail is rated as moderate with some steep sections. Make sure to wear comfortable, closed toe, hiking shoes and bring a water bottle and snacks. Approximately 2.5-3 hour hike.
