The Fort4Fitness Spring Cycle offers something for everyone. The Tour de Fort Wayne starts and finishes downtown at Headwaters Park and offers three non-competitive options for riders of all ages and skill levels. The options are a short loop of 19.7 miles, a middle loop of 35.2 miles, and a long loop of 45.25 miles. Roads will be open to traffic but police officers will be stationed at key intersections to help regulate traffic. All riders will start at 10 am and there will be a 4-hour time limit to complete this event. Riders will be advised at certain points if their pace is too slow, and if so, they must take a shorter route. This event is open to riders of all ages and skill levels.

Bike the Fort is a casual, family bike ride through selected downtown Fort Wayne streets that will be closed to vehicle traffic. The route corresponds to the downtown bike route and bike lanes. It starts at Headwaters Park and continues on an approximate 3 mile loop of Berry and Wayne Streets before finishing up back at Headwaters Park. There will be a mass start at 11:00 am and a second start at 12:30pm for those who wish to participate in both the Tour ande Bike the Fort. There will be family activities and entertainment along the course. This event runs from 11:00am-1:30pm. Participants will have the option of circling the loop multiple times, stopping at local establishments and experiencing all downtown has to offer. This event is also a non-competitive ride, and is open to riders of all ages and skill levels.

One registration fee allows you to participate in both events if you so choose. A Family Registration includes up to 2 adults (13+) and up to 8 of their legal children/dependents under 13. Children 13+ and other adult family members may register as part of the Family Registration for $20 each ($30 each after 5/15/2012).
Headwaters Park and Lincoln Pavilion will also be open for a fun filled day of cycling and fitness activities for the whole family. There will be a bike rodeo put on by Parkview Trauma Centers, mascots from local area teams to entertain the kids, food and merchandise vendors, information booths, and 2 big screen TVs detailing upcoming cycling events. Also present will be local cycling clubs and their cyclists decked out in all of their racing attire and with their bikes. This portion of the event is open to the general public, and admission is free.
