The Miles 4 Meso 5k Run/Walk is on Wednesday, July 4th at 9am. This 5k run will take you along the BPA trail and through Celebration Park with breathtaking views of Mt. Rainier. The start and finish is at the Federal Way Community Center 876 S. 333rd ST Federal Way, WA 98003-6343
Adults - $25 until 6/15, $30 until 6/30, Day of of $37
Kids: 17 & under - $20 until 6/15, $25 until 6/30, day of $32
You will be able to register in person at the Federal Way Community Center until 5pm on July 2nd. After that all registrations will be taken day of race.
FREE 1/4 Mile Kids Dash around the FWCC for ages 10 & under Registration can be done at the Federal Way Community Center or day of for Kids Dash. T-shirt is not included in this 1k race.
Includes a longsleeve tech running shirt while supplies last.

About This Event
Miles 4 Meso - WA Memorial 5K Run/Walk proceeds go to the Mesothelioma Applied Research Foundation to support patients and their families, provide research grants and create national awareness. Mesothelioma is a cancer caused by asbestos exposure. in memory of Dick Dyhrman, Bud Hatley, Bob Stewart and other Washington residents who have died from Mesothelioma.

Thank you so much for participating in our 7th Annual Miles for Meso Washington Memorial 5K at the Federal Way Community Center. Here are a few instructions on where to go and what to expect the day of the event.
All roads to the Federal Way Community Center will be closed starting at 8:30 am and will remain closed until the last walkers have completed the race.
Parking will be available at the Federal Way Community Center and in surrounding parking lots until 8:00 am. After 8:00 am your best bet for parking will be accessing City Hall via 336th Street and turning north onto 6th Ave.
Reminder: If you are parked in a road closure area, you will be unable to leave the event until the last walker completes the course.
7th annual Washington memorial MILES 4 MESO Event Information
The event is on Wednesday, July 4, 2018 and the race begins at 9:00 am. The start line is West of the Round-about on 333rd St. near the Federal Way Community Center.
Packet and t-shirt pick-up as well as late registration will be available day of on Wednesday, July 4 from 7:00 am until 8:30 am. No registrations will be accepted after 8:30 am on July 4th.
Early Packet Pick Up
If you would like to pick up packets before race day they will be available at the Federal Way Community Cneter on the following date and times:
8:30 am-10:30 am or
4:30pm- 6:30 pm
The kids dash starts at 8:45 am and starts and finishes at the same place the 5k starts/finishes.
Its free to kids ages 10 & under.
General Information for Everyone:
Your bib number should be pinned to the front of your shirt at waist level. Cell phones should be kept away from your bib when crossing timing mats. Your timing chip is on the back of your
race bib and does not need to be returned at the end of the race. This event is a chip timed event,
so make sure to step on the timing mat as you cross the start and finish lines (try to avoid striding over it). This event is a closed course with the exception of light vehicle traffic in Celebration Park, and potential pedestrian and bike traffic on the BPA trail and road traffic for an ⅛ mile stretch from the BPA trail on 1st Way South to 333rd St. Please be aware of your surroundings at all time.
Headsets are allowed on this course. We ask that persons pushing strollers please begin the race in
the rear of the pack. Dogs are not allowed.
We will be giving awards away for the top 3 overall finishers (male and female) as well as the top
3 finishers by age group.
Age groups include:
10 and under, 11-15, 16-19, 20–29, 30-39, 40-49, 50–59, 60-69, 70+
Please stick around after the race for a complimentary breakfast. We will start the award
ceremony for race winners at 10:15 am. Please bring cash for raffle tickets and a breakfast donation if you feel so inclined.
