Learn the traditional dance of the Scottish Highland chiefs in a fun and upbeat environment! Passed down through the Highlands, and ferried across the ocean, you can trace the roots of Highland Dance to the lochs and glens of Scotland. The beginning dancer will learn the Sword Dance and Highland Fling, and be introduced to additional techniques required for group dances such as the Reel of Tulloch. This course is taught by instructors certified by the Scottish Official Board of Highland Dancing. At the completion of the session, dancers will be eligible to audition for the competition team.
