This class is designed to build on the formative skills learned in our preschool program classes but can be taken by older boys with no prior experience with gymnastics. The material covered in this class will include gymnastics event description and purpose, gymnastics vocabulary, and skill development. Students will learn the most relevant body positions in the sport i.e. straight, hollow, tuck and pike. Through conditioning students develop groups of muscles that are important to further their advancement.
This curriculum has been revised in order for students to participate at home.
