About This Activity

Description

We're sorry, but this activity is over. The last meeting was Tuesday, February 5, 2019.

In the year of 1812 America was once again at war with the world?s largest and strongest empire, Great Britain. Come to the B&O Ellicott City Station Museum to learn about Maryland in the War of 1812, including the story behind our national anthem, and the town that fooled the British. Muster and March as part of the Maryland Militia, learn how to handle a cutlass just like the Chesapeake flotilla, and man the cannons at the star fort to help defend Baltimore from the British fleet!
