Paddling season is around the corner, and it’s time to start spending your time and energy outdoors exploring Centennial Lake and making new friends. Learn kayak paddling strokes, how to read the water conditions and practice safety techniques in this fun, social and safe environment. Detailed info will be sent to the email of the participant in the week prior to the program – check your registration to be sure you get it! No experience necessary and all equipment provided for use during the program.
All paddlers must have minimal swimming ability. It is not our intention to capsize the boats, but kayaks can and do flip over. You do not need to be a strong swimmer but most be comfortable in the water. All participants are required to wear life jackets while on the water (life jackets are supplied).
