Come out to The Meltdown and get a leg up on the 2017 racing season! What better way to thaw yourself of the winter freeze and melt off those extra holiday pounds.
Tired of doing the "same old - same old"? In this event, you'll be given a map with checkpoints marked on the map, and up to 6 hours to collect as many of these checkpoints as you can. Collect as many as you like, and run and bike for as long as you like…… up to but no longer than 6 hours will be permitted. All you need is an adventurous spirit, and some very basic map reading skills (do you know your north from your south and your left from your right?).
Solo racers and teams of 2-3 welcome!
If we are lucky enough to have snow cover, you also can travel by any means you choose. You can snowshoe, ski, bike or even posthole your way from point to point. If there is snow, your method of travel (or madness!) will be your option!
