About This Activity

St. John's FC Annual Christmas Turkey Trot 2018
When:
Sunday 2nd December @ 2:30pm.
Where:
Starting and finishing at Doorly Park playground,
Riverside, Sligo.
About:
This is a 5km PREDICTIVE race /fun run. No
watches, Garmins, Phones, etc allowed for timing.
Route: The 5km route will be a chipped timing race starting at Doorly Park play-ground you head up
towards Cleveragh Park back along Riverside to finish at the Doorly Park Playground.
Registration:
When you register you put your predicted finish time. The top 3 runners/joggers whose finish time is
closest to their predictive time wins a prize. It means the participant whose finishes 31 st has as much
chance as winning as the person who finishes 1st. You don’t have to be the fastest to win a prize!!
There will also be prizes for first male and female finishers plus other age related prizes.
We encourage participants to wear Santa hats, etc. to add to the fun for this family friendly event.

5km Chipped race:
 Adults - €10 - online registration / €15 – on the day registration
 Students - €8 - online registration / €10 – on the day registration
 Kids (16 and under) - €5 online registration / €6 – on the day registration
2km (non-chipped) fun run:
 Adults - €5 - on the day registration
 Kids - €2 – on the day registration
All funds raised will go towards the running , maintenance and new equipment for St. John’ s FC
Underage teams.
Prize Giving , Raffle and refreshments for all in Blue Lagoon, Riverside, Sligo afterwards.
