Develops participants' confidence in the strokes learned in Level 3 and improves other aquatic skills. Skills: swim under water, feetfirst surface dive, survival swimming, front crawl and backstroke open turns, tread water using 2 different kicks, front and back crawl, elementary backstroke, breastroke, sidestroke and butterfly, flutter and dolphin kicks on back, learn to look carefully before entering the water, learn what to think about and do when exhausted or caught in a dangerous situation, learn to perform simple nonswimming assists, and learn about recreational water illnesses and how to prevent them. Headfirst entries from the side in compact and stride positions will not be taught at Aquatic Centers due to pool depth requirements.
A participant who wishes to transfer to a different swim lesson class (level up or down, session or time change) will be charged a $10.00 processing fee. A request to transfer must be done at least 5 business days prior to the first day of the lesson, as long as there is room available in the class.
A participant who wishes to cancel will be charged a $10.00 processing fee and must cancel at least 5 business days prior to the first day of the lesson in order to receive a refund.
Credit card refunds will be issued back to the original card on file. All cash and check payments will be refunded via check within 30 days to the address on file.
