Builds on skills learned in Level 2 by providing additional guided practice in deeper water. Skills: enter water by jumping from the side, bobbing while moving toward safety, rotary breathing, survival float, back float, change from vertical to horizontal position on front and back, tread water, flutter, scissor, dolphin and breastroke kicks on front, front crawl and elementary backstroke, learn to look carefully before entering the water, learn to perform simple nonswimming assists, and learn to recognize, prevent and respond to cold water emergencies. Headfirst entries from the side will not be taught at Aquatic Centers due to pool depth requirements.
A participant who wishes to transfer to a different swim lesson class (level up or down, session or time change) will be charged a $10.00 processing fee. A request to transfer must be done at least 5 business days prior to the first day of the lesson, as long as there is room available in the class.
A participant who wishes to cancel will be charged a $10.00 processing fee and must cancel at least 5 business days prior to the first day of the lesson in order to receive a refund.
Credit card refunds will be issued back to the original card on file. All cash and check payments will be refunded via check within 30 days to the address on file.
