Caribou Ranch has a rich history...silver mine, Arabian Horse Farm, movie set, and recording studio. This Boulder County Open Space makes for a peaceful and secluded snowshoe. Snowshoes and trekking poles provided. Distance: 3.1 miles roundtrip, Starting Elevation: 8500', Elevation Gain: 300'. Departs from Scheitler Recreation Center at 8am.
Per CDC guidance, face coverings are required in all buses and vans.
CANCELLATIONS: If Outdoor Recreation cancels the trip due to inclement weather, lack of participants, or any other unforeseen circumstances, the participants will receive a full REFUND.
REFUNDS: 15 DAYS IN ADVANCE: If a participant cancels the registration 15 days in advance, a full REFUND will be given. LESS THAN 15 DAYS IN ADVANCE: If a participant cancels registration less than 15 days in advance, NO CREDIT OR REFUND will be given. APPEAL: If a participant experiences a serious illness or loss that prevents their attendance that requires special consideration, an appeal can be submitted to the Coordinator of Outdoor Recreation for review.
