Live Indoors: Go4Life Srs Functional Fitness -"Fitness Where You Are"
This fun, yet motivational functional fitness class will help seniors and those with low mobility issues to improve their Strength - Balance - Flexibility & Endurance. Focus is on key exercises targeting: cardio-vascular health, increasing bone density, lessening arthritis pain, improving balance. agility and flexibility, increasing metabolism, lifting depression, Fall Prevention, decreasing risk of diabetes and improving HDL/LDL.
Low impact aerobics and weight training included. Fun oldies, Motown, classical to salsa, soft rock, 70's disco, Tango, inspirational, show tunes and TV show themed-music is used.
*Equipment needed (if comfortable): Hand weights, resistance band, 5" ball (soft), kettlebell, large dowel or cane, and water to stay hydrated.
