Welcome to our Preschool. Please reserve your space by signing up online, here. A current Program Handbook and Enrollment Packet will be provided to you prior to your child’s first day. In order to register for this program, you must have the approval of the Culver-Palms Family YMCA Preschool Director or Executive Director. Our colorful preschool facilities provide a safe and nurturing environment that allows children to develop and grow. You can have peace of mind knowing that trained providers are caring for your child, while teaching a curriculum aligned with the State of California’s education standards. In response to the COVID-19 pandemic, all of our preschool programs operate with small classroom sizes and implement curriculum designed to maintain physical distancing. In addition, frequent hand washing is infused into our daily schedule. All facilities are cleaned throughout the day and deep cleaned every evening. We strive to prepare your child for kindergarten through activities designed to enhance their ability to problem-solve, create, and positively interact in different social situations. Play, explore, learn. Changes & Cancellations: For this program: A 15-day written request is required for all program changes and cancellations. Without proper written request, the change or cancellation will be denied or applied to the next qualifying payment within the schedule; the subsequent ATS or EFT charge will draft, as scheduled. YMCA School Year Programs are continuous, from the first day of the program until the last day of program and monthly, bi-monthly and/or weekly charges will resume until the program has ended or the parent, guardian or authorized representative has emailed a 15-day written request for cancellation. Written Request: All written requests must be submitted to ChildCareAccounting@ymcaLA.org. A written request to the YMCA Director of the program is not sufficient, as it is not the YMCA Director of the program’s responsibility to submit a written request on behalf of a parent, guardian or authorized representative. Physical forms are no longer provided. Any outstanding balances will be due at the time of cancellation. The parent, guardian or authorized representative is liable for any program fees that the YMCA may incur in its effort to collect any remaining balances.
