We take the "work" out of workout, by mixing low-intensity and high-intensity moves for an interval-style, calorie-burning dance fitness party.
Once the Latin and World rhythms take over, you'll see why Zumba Fitness classes are often called exercise in disguise.
This is a total workout, combining all elements of fitness - cardio, muscle conditioning, balance and flexibility, and boosted energy.
Super effective? Check. Super fun? Check and check.
The best part?...no mirrors are used in this class.
This is a great class for the experienced dancer or for someone that has always wanted to dance. As long a you know your left from your right (at least most of the time anyway), you can do this! So, come on out and have some fun, dance, and work up a sweat!
Taught by a licensed Zumba instructor, this multi-level class will include high and low impact options. You choose the intensity that is right for you at each workout.
Please wear sneakers and bring a bottle of water and a towel.
Note on foot wear: smooth sole sneaker are best - or a pair that most of the tread is worn off on. You want the support of the sneaker, but don't need a lot of tread.
Testimonial from recent participant:
"I have two left feet and no rhythm. However, the instructor creates a warm and welcoming atmosphere. I don't feel judged and have a great time moving to the music - even out of sync." Dana R.
