We're sorry, but this activity is over. The last meeting was Wednesday, September 28, 2022.
This is a 4-Week Session/$35 that meets Wednesdays and is on a rotating schedule each month. Receive a 10% discount if you sign up for the same week/month and add Fridays to your registration. That would be for 8 classes combined.
Do you feel like you’re slowing down or find pain and stiffness in your joints or muscles? Do you notice increased mental stress, decreased immunity, or memory concerns?
Many mobility conditions such as arthritis, fibromyalgia, scleroderma, and spondylitis are characterized by stiffness and impaired physical function. Tai chi gently frees up stiff joints, muscles, and tissues.
Sun-style Tai Chi (from Dr. Paul Lam’s Tai Chi for Arthritis Program) is easy to learn, effective, and safe. Tai Chi is a low impact and slow-moving exercise that can:
• Improve muscle strength, brain function and cognition
• Prevents falls
• Increase heart and lung activity
• Lower cholesterol and blood pressure
• Align posture
• Integrate the connection between mind and body
• Improve flexibility and balance
This class also incorporates seated Tai Chi for those with limited mobility.
Overall, you’ll experience less stress and more relaxation. Ready to learn how strong you really are when you connect your body and mind? Join us. We’ll take this journey together. All are welcome.
