Description
Are you a working professional, teenage influencer, Etsy shop owner, small business owner or otherwise marketer, educator, nonprofit organization, individual wanting to add more flair to your presentations, marketing materials or Facebook/Insta posts?Do you wish to learn an online tool that helps you create and design your own marketing materials for digital or print? Or, are you looking to maximize your social media presence with eye-catching advertising, gain followers or find your market?
This is a great graphic design course for beginners and in this program, we'll provide an overview of the basics using the free Adobe Express app. (See below the class description for details).
You'll learn how to:
* Understand a few principals of graphic design and how to match your audience* Navigate through the screen, menus, options to get started* How to choose the best templates* Understand how to use .jpegs and other graphics available for free, find and resize images appropriately* Review design formats that can be used for flyers, brochures, cards and social media marketing* Create a sample logo that you can save and use later
What to Know About Adobe Express:Adobe Express is built on a freemium model, giving it away for free but leaving more premium features behind a subscription. The optional subscription gives access to more fonts, more templates and removes caps on certain features. With Adobe Express being available on mobile devices and web browsers, it has special offers for subscriptions you should check out, if you are a student or non-profit.
Program Requirements:
** You are to bring your own device: Laptop or Tablet. List what you are bringing with you during registration, charging block/cable. Ex: Apple iPad
** Make sure your device is pre-loaded with the free application for Adobe Express (link here for more info: https://new.express.adobe.com/). If not, we can show you how to do so during class.
