The 2014 Wildflower Bike Ride is the main fundraiser for the Anchor Club of Cuero High School. Proceeds from the bike ride have helped fund community service projects such as a Prom for our Special Needs students each spring, Brain Minder Buddy programs at the local elementary schools, a presenation from Sean Carter (WhenSeanSpeaks.com), camping scholarships to Camp Higher Ground-a camp for adults with brain-related injuries and diseases, and to fund scholarships for our Senior Anchor Club members. Your participation in this ride helps us to continue our special projects and is greatly appreciated.
The Wildflower Bike Ride course winds through some picturesque sites in this area. SAG stops will offer riders a chance to stop and view over seven centuries of local history-an added historic and pastoral dimenesion for those who want to "stop and smell the flowers". We hope you will enjoy these special interests while you bike through the flower-strewn countryside of DeWitt County.
