In Kala's After School Studio Online is designed for students in K-5 grades. Our teaching artists engage with young artists individually and in small groups through skill-based instruction and hands-on projects. Our instructors are practicing artists, and child whisperers who create fun, responsive and supportive environments for all students. Classes activities include storytelling, games, music, and ongoing reflection to build community and trust. We want your child to experience our program so your family can decide if it is the best fit for them. We schedule trial days on a space-available basis. Single day trials are $33 (90 min) for the older group (3-5th grade) and $27.50 (75 min) for the younger group (kindergarten – 2nd grade). If you then sign up for the program, your total tuition will be prorated for the time remaining in our year. After School Studio Online meets weekly on Wednesdays from 2:30- 3:45 pm (Grades K-2nd) and Tuesdays and Thursdays from 3:30-5pm (Grades 3-5). Trial Day tuition does not include art supplies. You will receive a list of supplies to be used on that day, which may include drawing paper, construction paper, pencil, scissors, eraser, color pencils, crayons, markers, and glue. If families need access to such supplies, please contact firstname.lastname@example.org. We have a limited amount of gently used art materials we can provide but only for Curbside Pickup.
