Hike through the quiet forest to the gaping entrance of North America’s third longest lava tube. With lava frozen in time hanging from the ceiling and microscopic creatures living within the walls, you will travel 0.75 miles underground by the light of your headlamp to the cave’s lahar-blocked terminus. After returning to the surface, we will hike aboveground back to our cars.
