The National Institute on Aging (NIA) states that Osteoarthritis is the most common form of arthritis amongst older people, and it is one of the most frequent causes of physical disability in this population. The presentation will give an overview of this condition and discuss medications as one of the ways health care providers use to attempt to manage this chronic disease. REGISTRATION REQUIRED

The Centers for Disease Control (CDC) states that the percentage of adults with Type 2 Diabetes increases with age, reaching close to 30% for those aged 65 years or older. This talk will include medications health care providers use as one of the tools to manage Type 2 Diabetes. There will also be a discussion on medications recently approved by the FDA for weight loss in the management of obesity. REGISTRATION REQUIRED
