About this event

The Intermediate Division is structured for players age 11-13 and is played on a modified baseball field with a 50 foot pitching distance and 70 foot base paths. This provides players with the opportunity to transition from the 46/60 Little League field to the 60/90 full sized regulation baseball field. Skill development continues to be refined at this level of play with the introduction of pick-off moves by pitchers, lead-offs by base runners, and balk calls by umpires. Players at this level will compete in a Coronado Championship tournament and the end of regular season play, and the winner will advance to tournament play outside of Coronado. Players can expect one or more practices a week, in addition to one weekday and one Saturday game every week.
