Certified and dedicated staff is committed to helping your child reach his/her swim goals. Whether your child is just getting started or eager to improve, these focused and specialized swim lessons are catered to your child's swim needs. This 30 minute class has 1:1 staff to student ratio for more personalized training.
Adaptive: Designed to provide a safe, enjoyable recreation experience for individuals who have physical disabilities, impairments or are developmentally disabled. Classes include introduction to the water and water adjustment activities. Where appropriate, participants may be required to have a parent or aide in the water to assist with activities.
Parent and Me: Strictly a water orientation class, parent participation in the water is required. Parent will be taught how to instruct child in basic water safety and self-help skills. Skills include water adjustment and entry, bubble blowing, underwater exploration, buoyancy on the front and back position, front kick, arm movement, submerging in a rhythmic pattern, rolling over, and age appropriate safety topics.
Beginner: Designed for a swimmer?s initial introduction to water and swim instruction. Swimmers learn basic water safety, explore the water and build their comfortability in the water. Fundamentals include blowing bubbles, holding of breath, kicking, and basic glides and strokes.
Intermediate: Designed for the development and improvement of a swimmer?s strokes, increased water safety awareness, and alternate breathing methods.
Advanced: Designed for the refinement of a swimmer?s strokes, advanced water safety awareness, and diving techniques.
Staff will also assess child's swim level during first meeting.
