Third annual fundraising 5K run/walk race for conservation. Enjoy a morning on the refreshing and winding paths nestled in the beautiful eighty three acres oasis and lush landscape of the world renowned Fairchild Tropical Botanic Garden. You start at a brisk pace through a tropical rainforest, make your way through a desert of succulents, and finish strong in the Palmetum, a grove of over a thousand palms. Join us Saturday, April 22nd, 2017, as we celebrate Earth Day and run/walk for environmental conservation and a sustainable future. This event is for a great cause and we would be honored to have you participate with us and the local community of Coral Gables, Pinecrest and Miami!

The Fairchild Palms is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization of dynamic young professionals committed to raising funds and awareness in support of the Fairchild Challenge. The Fairchild Challenge is the award-winning, interdisciplinary, environmental science competition created by the Fairchild Tropical Botanic Garden, designed to engage students from pre-K through grade 12 to explore the natural world, and teaching the values of environmental stewardship and conservation.
