What's Included

Weekly activity/conditioning days where athletes, parents, and siblings (as well as our coaches) can get together and run, hike, and have fun! Details will sent out by email on the Friday prior to the week upcoming up. We are thinking Tuesday or Wednesday evenings at 5:30/6:00 pm (depending on the activity) at various locations around the Burnaby/Coquitlam area. In addition we would like to do a Grouse Grind and the Squamish Chief, but those would probably have to be done on a weekend as they take more time to complete. We hope that everyone will be able to attend these sessions, athletes, parents, and siblings are welcome!! Each week we will plan something different, generally it will be a hike or a run with some sort of conditioning involved. So far we have the following ideas, if anyone has other ideas we would love to hear them!: Coquitlam crunch Buntzen Lake loop Burnaby Mountain 500 Stairs Rocky Point Town Centre (bootcamp style) We are hoping that most of these activities will be free, so there will be no cost to you (with exception to the gondola fee of $11 for the Grouse Grind).

About This Organizer

Wings Gymnastics is a non-profit society whose primary mandate is to provide its members with safe and enjoyable gymnastics programs at both a recreational and competitive level. We are proud of the fact that we are a family oriented club with a strong connection to the communities of Coquitlam, Port Moody, and Burnaby because of our location across from Lougheed Town Centre and on the border of all three municipalities.

We offer boys and girls, ages 4-16, the opportunity to enjoy gymnastics in a safe and supportive environment no matter what their skill level. Wings owns a full complement of apparatus, and our coaches are fully certified through the National Coaching Certification Program and registered with Gymnastics BC.

Wings operates its programs out of the Cameron Recreation Complex in Burnaby and at TAG Gymnastics Centre in Port Coquitlam. With our emphasis on "Gymnastics for Fun and Fitness", holiday events and special displays involving all Wings gymnasts are also an essential and exciting part of our season.
