What's Included

Junior Climber High Adventure Summer Camp is a 4-day ages 10-12 High Adventure Climbing and Rappelling Summer Camp.

We added the Junior program this year because of all the request from 10-12 year old climbers that felt left out. We listened and we developed Junior Climber just for you. This program is perfect for kids that want to climb and improve their personal climbing ability.

We start off with a Monday morning half-day classroom session followed by spending the balance of the day climbing/rappelling. On Tuesday we will spend a few more hours of classroom training followed with more climbing/rappelling on different routes. On Wednesday and Thursday the Junior Climber's will build upon previously learned skills and continue to climb more difficult routes building confidence, strength, and community. We will return Thursday afternoon.

Here are some Key Points:
•For youth aged 10-12
•No prior climbing experience required
•All equipment is provided
•4-days of outdoor climbing and rappelling-this is not indoors!
•Junior Climber will Cabin Camp 3-nights/4-days

Typical Itinerary: Arrive at our Cookeville location Monday morning 8am CST. Introductions. Commute to Monterey TN basecamp. Set up camp. Begin skills instruction/training first part of morning. Eat lunch. Travel to the rock face and begin implementing the skills previously learned by hands on climbing and rappelling. We will duplicate this on Tuesday. Wednesday and Thursday we will climb, rappel and boulder all day long.
Junior Climber parents are welcome to hang out with us the whole four days as spectators. If you want to camp with us we charge a nominal fee to cover the cabin rental and food. If you want to participate you may do so at half the cost of Junior Climber.
This Summer Camp will book up very quickly usually months in advance. Discover more about our summer camps by going to Plateau Eco-Sports
