Pilates strengthens the core muscles of the pelvis, abdomen and back to improve balance, trunk strength and flexibility, body awareness, and wholebody movement. Slow and graceful movements make this format accessible for most regardless of age or fitness level. The benefit of yoga is that it can be done anywhere and with just an exercise mat.
