NFRC has provided programs & services to families in Maryland for more than 29 years. NFRC helps children and adults preserve a sense of family, foster healthy relationships, & adjust constructively to change. Counseling & educational programs include pre-martial, marriage, reconciliation, separation, divorce, step family, co-parenting, and collaborative divorce. NFRC provides services in Howard, Montgomery & Prince George’s.
The 5K for Families is a scenic run on paved trails around Lake Kittamaqundi and Wilde Lake, located in Columbia Town Center. The 1 K fun walk is an easy paved walk for all ages around Lake Kittamaqundi.
Entertainment, door prizes, raffles, children’s crafts, games, face painting will be ongoing starting at 8:30 a.m. Awards will be given to all children who participate in the fun walk and craft activities.
All proceeds from this event will support the sliding fee counseling programs at NFRC
Awards: Trophies and medals will be awarded to 1st place overall Male & Female – AND- 1st & 2nd place for men & women including teens & children in 8 various age categories.
Door Prizes will be awarded on the day of the Race. To be eligible, participants must be present.
T Shirts or Sports Towels will be available for the first 100 runners
