What's Included

The Instrumental and Vocal Department provides beginning to advanced study in piano, strings, voice, woodwinds, and guitar through comprehensive programs (core, full, and extended), weekly class or ensemble instruction, the Certificate Program, and the Summer Music Institute. The traditions and artistic approach to teaching cultivated by the School’s founders, and continue to guide the School’s programs to this day. National Conservatory of Arts/HKML's faculty is united by pedagogical principles such as using repertoire of enduring quality, teaching technique musically, and guiding students to an understanding of the structure of music. Through this integrated approach to music education, our dedicated and skilled faculty develops a responsiveness in students to the beauty of music and to the subtleties of artistic performance.
